As of January 2025, Vietnam is the third largest trading partner of Korea, after China and the United States.
Total bilateral trade turnover reached 86.7 billion USD (about 126,000 billion KRW), an increase of more than 9% compared to the previous year.
Notably, Korea recorded a trade index of about 30 billion USD in trade relations with Vietnam - second only to the United States. The main export items from Korea to Vietnam include: semiconductors, Korean cosmetics (K-beauty), Korean food (K-food) and many other products. Vietnam is currently a key export market and strategic investment partner of Korea.
